Ashley Clack

Ashley Clack holds a B.A. Dance minor Education from Mason Gross School of The Arts at Rutgers University. She previously attended The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago. She was a guest lecturer at Temple University. Ashley tap danced in New York City at The Cotton Club in Harlem with Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and The Sophisticated Ladies. She performed on Good Morning America LIVE on ABC with rap artist Silento, Dancing With The Stars, 'Evolution of Dance Man', and Mickey Mouse. She attended Jersey Tap Fest and Sarah Reich's Tap Music Project on full-scholarship. Ashley also attended Tap City: The New York City Tap Festival and performed at The Tap Extravaganza. Ashley had the opportunity to receive additional training from The Joffrey Ballet School and M.A.D.D. Rhythms Tap Collective.Ashley has choreographed and danced for national and international commercials. Her choreography was showcased at NYC Dance Arts, Disney World, Six Flags Great Adventure, Fleet Week on The Intrepid, Dance Astoria Choreographer's Festival, Main Street Theater Company, and Pivot Theatre Company. Other performance credits include: NJPAC, Symphony Hall, The Strand, Wells Fargo Center, The Manhattan Center, opening for Jabbawockeez, promotions with Paramount Pictures, promotions with Chicago: The Musical (Broadway), and has appeared on So You Think You Can Dance.--

Kayla James

Kayla James began her dance journey at ten, dedicating nearly twenty years to mastering jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip-hop. She pursued a BA in Business and Sports Management at Rider University. Kayla has taught as both permanent and guest faculty across the East Coast and Midwest, earning acclaim for her choreography on regional, national, and international stages.

Now, as Director of the Trenton Education Dance Institute (TEDI), she impacts thousands of students in the Trenton Public School District. Through her dedication to dance education, TEDI has earned citations of excellence and awards from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Kayla also serves as a judge for the PAC Collective.

KIRSTEN SHEARER

Tap Instructor/Choreographer

Kirsten has over 15 years of tap training in classical and rhythm tap, and is an experienced teacher of both recreational and competition level tap in the central Jersey area. While still a dance student, Kirsten was accepted as a junior member of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble, where she had the opportunity to perform with and learn from some of the greatest tap dancers in the region. She has also trained in master tap classes in NYC. Kirsten enjoys working with students of all levels and ages, and is always excited to show all of her students how fun and rewarding tap can be. She lives with her husband and two children in Hopewell.

TENEE ASHLEY

Instructor/Choreographer

Born in Trenton, New Jersey Tenee Ashley began her dance career at the age of three. A former award winning competitive dancer, upon graduating from high school, she chose to continue her college education at the Studio School LA, in Los Angeles California where she completed her BFA in Commercial Dance in May of 2020. Classically trained in multiple genres of dance such as Ballet, African, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Pointe, Tap and Hip Hop. She has over eighteen years of dance education and her talents has earned her the honor of being selected to train at the prestigious Alvin Ailey Dance Theater in New York. Tenee Ashley has also served as a Dance Ambassador for Dancer Inc. in Neptune, New Jersey.
Revered by many of her dance peers as a fierce competitor, known for her precise hard hitting sassy movements earning her the nickname “Teyonce” Tenee Ashley is a well-rounded performer known to dance with extreme passion while adding her own flavor to each performance. She has performed in music videos but is most notable for her work in the music video for international recording artist Iggy Azalea and Brazil MTV Awards with sensation; Ludmilla. Tenee Ashley has capture the attention and performed choreography of some of the industry’s top choreographers such as Napoleon and Tabitha, Joe Brown, Jamal Sims, Ambrose Respicio, Brooklyn Jai, Nicole Kirkland, Donyelle Jones, Rudy Abreu and many more. She has performed three times in the Choreographer’s Carnival in Hollywood, California and the Dizzy Feet Foundation Gala (presently known as the American Dance Movement) in Los Angeles, California. Since college graduation, Tenee Ashley plans to tour the world nationally and internationally inspiring others through dance and staying true to the person she is.

DANIELLE RAMON

Dance Instructor/Choreographer

Danielle Ramon is a contemporary dancer, trained in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. She has been dancing professionally with moe-tion dance theater, a contemporary modern company under artistic director Maureen Glennon since 2015, and performs professionally in the tri state area. Ramon is also Pilates Mat certified.
When Ramon was young she took class at multiple studios and studied with Rosemary Sabovick Bleich. This led her to Dance Exposure 2, where she competed as a student of Cynthia Sabovick. She also studied ballet at New Jersey Dance Theater Ensemble under artistic director, Nancy Turano. Ramon graduated high school from Somerset County Vo-Tech’s Gifted and Talented Dance program in 2007 and furthered her dance education at Virginia Commonwealth University from where she holds a BFA in Dance and Choreography.
